This is my personal space on the web. Here you may learn all you never wanted to know about me, read my random ramblings or torture your poor eyeballs with my photo collection. You may also be interested in my travelogue and pictures of a self-supported, self-funded bicycle tour through Europe which took me six months to complete and spanned 20 countries and more than 15.000km. I'm a software developer by trade and have released an open source isometric game engine called BlackFish. Judging from the helpful votes I get from Amazon some people even enjoy my book reviews. And because I'm a heavily opinionated bloke I hate cars - if you want to see just one of a million of reasons why take a look at the reality on our roads today.
and always looking for challenging new projects. I have 5 years of professional experience developing solutions for customers ranging from small one man companies through large corporations to government agencies. Always trying to employ the most efficient tools for the job I have successfully used a wide range of technologies and languages such as C++, Java, VisualBasic, PhP, mySQL and HalconScript. I have worked alone or in small teams, as a team leader or a member. I am based in Münster, Germany, although my work often involved european or international colleagues and I can easily communicate in either English or German. A lot of my projects have been research work with close ties to universities and I love banging my head against the hard problems (and winning of course! ;-) ).
If you think you have one of those brain teaser projects - please do contact me! A complete resumee and references are available upon request.
